A virgin area is waiting for you to be the first to explore it under a mythical bright sun. You will also be refreshed by a whole sea of divine blue with treasures of marine wanders underneath that will please your soul and your eye by the sight of it. The ideal welcoming warm weather is the perfect addition to a lifetime trip. After indulging yourself with the aquatic environment, you will have the chance to relax on the dry sand of Siwa Oasis and the Great Sand Sea.

Program Details

 Day (01) Italy - Cairo
Arrivals to Cairo International Airport, Meet & assist through customs & formalities then transfer to hotel
Day (02) Cairo – North Coast (400 km) Road
8 am. – We’ll move towards north coast and prepare our camp in one of the most beautiful bays. Lunch On-route
After finishing the camp we’ll be able to enjoy the outstanding views of nature, sun and swimming in the Mediterranean
8 pm. – Dinner on the shore under the dazzling stars on music of waves.
Day (03) North Coast
After breakfast trekking along the beach while enjoying the softness & beauty of white sand, enjoying the difference formation of bays
Back to camp – enjoying the shore, swimming, sun bathing, relaxing and Lunch
5 pm. Tour on foot to visit the indigenous inhabitants (Bedouins) to interact, learn their traditions and mingle with them (they will invite us for Bedouins tea).

Day (04) North Coast – Siwa (300 km) Road
8 am. Breakfast and then moving towards Siwa Oasis through the back area of the north coast and fig & Malt Bedouins farms and also we’ll be able to watch the troops of lambs and camels – Lunch on Route
Arrivals to Siwa Oasis through Qattara Depression the view itself is breathtaking as we will see the whole oasis with all its natural view (magnificent views of water lakes, sand dunes and palm trees)
We’ll visit the old oasis (Shali) then gather and move towards sand dunes in the great sand sea.

Day (05) Siwa
After Breakfast we take a donkey drawn cart for a tour around the city and visit Cleopatra’s spring, Mountain of the Dead, Alexander the Great Temple (Temple of the Oracle).
Lunch in traditional restaurant. Free tour after Lunch
3 pm. bathing in one the most beautiful roman water springs.
5 pm. We’ll go through the sand dunes, preparing our camp afterwards we will enjoy a special dinner – lamb meat made in Bedouin way
Day (06) Siwa – North Coast (300 km) Road
8 am. Breakfast and then moving towards the North Coast
Arrivals to sea side, preparing our camp and then having Lunch
Rest of the day will be spent on the shore, relaxing, swimming & sun bathing
8 pm. Dinner
Day (07) North Coast
After breakfast we’ll visit Bedouins gardens (watermelon & figs) and will explore it with full explanation while enjoying the taste of fresh fruits.
Return to camp have lunch and relaxing on the beach.
8 pm Dinner
Day (08) North Coast – Alexandria (280 km) Road
8 am. Breakfast and then moving towards Alamein. There we visit the WWII Museum and the war memorial – Lunch On-Route
Arrivals to Alexandria – Check in hotel
Day (09) Alexandria – Cairo (200 km) Road
After breakfast we will gather to visit the catacombs and the library of Alexandria.
Free tour in downtown and then Soft drinks in old style coffee shop.
Lunch in fish restaurant where you can have a delicious meal on the old harbour of Alexandria with a citadel view.
5 pm proceeding to Cairo, Check in hotel
Day (10) Cairo – (Final Departure)
Transfer to Cairo International Airport, and back to Italy.

1- Professional Desert Guide: Chairman of Zarzora Expedition/ Col. Ahmed El Mestikawi will lead this tour.

2- Transportations & Security:
A- Four-Wheel Drive Toyota Land cruiser newest model 4 people per Car, All seats are facing forward.
B- Full Navigation system GPS.
C- Advanced Map Navigation satellite images and routing

F- VHF communication between cars.
G- Emergency Gas & Water container
H- First Aid Kit.

3- Central Tent:
A- Central tent 10X5meters resistance against cold temperature &wind.
B- All necessary kitchen & dining utensils, cookery, drink ware etc.
C- Refrigerator, oven & fire grill.
D- Electricity 220V (can be used for charging guest’s batteries, cameras, cell phones, etc).
E- Chairs and tables for dinning use.
F- Camp is protected against bad weather conditions.

4- Camp Accommodation:
A- Spacious well ventilated dome tent (220cmX180cm) including mattresses per person. (High density foam mattress, 200cmX80cm and 6cm in thickness).
B- Tents are resistant against bad weather conditions.
C- Chemical toilets
D- Shower with fresh water [all day]
E- Zarzora's Crew help in setting up the tents for the clients.

5- Hotel Accommodation:
A- Two night’s accommodation in Cairo hotel 4**** on BB basis
B- One night’s accommodation in Alexandria hotel 4**** on BB basis

6- Food &Beverages:
A- Full board- breakfast, picnic lunch and warm cooked dinner during the tour.
B- Beverages (mineral water, tea, coffee, etc) during the tour as per program.
C- Sweets and savoury snacks during the tour as per program.

7- Visits, Excursions and transfers:
A- All entrance fees and militarily permissions fees for desert entry as per program.
B- Italian speaking guide during the 9th day (the city of Alexandria tour)
C- Only One transfer for each Arrival & Departure days

Notes:

-Please note that we need coloured copies of passports at least 10 days before the actual trip date.
-Don’t forget to bring your personal sleeping bag, sun glasses, torches/LED Flashlights, sun block cream, heavy duty shoes, and a head cover sun protection.
-We don’t recommend joining this trip if you have any serious medical condition however please don’t forget to bring your own necessary medications if you’re on any.
-Zarzora’s leader is fully authorized to change the trip route in case of any emergency e.g., vehicle breakdown, sickness of any of the trip members, dramatic weather changes, etc....
