This 16-day journey leads us through the extraterrestrial landscapes of southwest Egypt to explore the monumental highlands of Gilf Kebir and Uweinat. We visit prehistoric sites, investigate the relics and camp sites of the early desert explorers, look into regions reported by NASA “…similar to Mars.” We explore two of the world's largest crater zones, trek through vegetated valleys and look into innumerable sites with prehistoric rock-art.
